Taming My Arthritis

Stop suffering through an arthritic life while making the drug companies RICH!
Don’t Spend The Rest Of Your Life Buying Expensive Drugs!

“Warning: Most Pharmaceutical Drugs DON’T Treat Arthritis, They Just Treat The Pain! And, The Most Effective Way To Eliminate Your Pain ISN’T Being Offered By Your Family Doctor Or The Large Drug Companies!”
(That’s why it took me so long to find it!)

No-one needs to tell you how frustrating, painful and debilitating arthritis pain is. If you have come to this page, you know what pain really is!

After a few years of taking arthritis pain medication I read a fascinating article on the motives behind most big drug companies. To summarize this article, drug companies DON’t want to cure you, they want to treat you. In other words, if they sold you a pill that “cured” your problem they’d only get paid once. If they “treat” your symptoms, they get paid each and every month for the rest of your life! I was angry. Surely, if there was a way to eliminate the pain of arthritis once and for all, SOMEONE would have that plastered all over CNN, right!

Wrong! After doing some research I found that there is ZERO profit in some of the natural arthritis cures (and some of these methods have been known for centuries!). Why is they not advertised? Because most of these cures use natural, simple products that can’t be pattened by the big drug companies. If there isn’t a patent, they can’t be exclusive. If there’s no formula, there’s no profit. If there is no profit, why advertise and promote it.

“The Best Solution For Ending Arthritic Pain That I Found Was Also The Cheapest!”

I stumbled upon a little known website from someone who had suffered through years of arthritic pain, got motivated to do some serious research and put together a 100% natural remedy for curing your arthritis pain. And, within 15-30 days of using their information I walked up a flight of steps without feeling any pain in my knees. Over the next few weeks I felt better, stronger and have never felt the need to take any drug for my arthritis. So, PLEASE take the time to read the information on this site!

Don’t let the amateurish website design fool you. This isn’t some big corporate expensive site.. But the program works! Here’s the link to the best (and cheapest) arthritis pain relief program I’ve found

(click here)

You won’t realize how much fun it is living pain free until you eliminate that pain once and for good!
Thanks for reading and I wish you great (pain free) health

(Get ready to take “arthritis meds” off your list of monthly expenses!)

PS. One last thing. When I found I was getting discouraged about some of the outrageous claims the herbal supplement sites and other arthritis cure sites were making. I was almost ready to through in the towel and resign myself to a life of drug dependency. The ONLY reason I decided to try this last offer was because they offered a 100% money back guarantee. (And if it hadn’t worked, I would have request my refund in the blink of an eye!) I didn’t need to request that refund. This works for me (and for a few other people I’ve since told about it) (click here)

PPS. I just had to add this update. I was talking to a neighbor who said, “Well, It doesn’t cost me anything for my arthritis medication. I have insurance”. You could have knocked me over with a feather. At 62 years of age he still doesn’t realize there isn’t any such thing as a free lunch. SOMEONE is paying for that medication. Whether it’s your company (the high cost of employee benefit plans are one of the major reasons many North American companies are considering moving oversees), or your taxes. If they government is paying for your medication you can be sure they are overpaying for it. In other words, your grand children and great grandchildren might still be paying off HIS prescription drugs. Don’t ever think that “it doesn’t cost me anything”. It costs us ALL! That’s another good reason to consider an alternative to lining the drug companies pockets. If we ALL cut down our health costs, by taking responsibility for our own health, we might also cut down our government debt (and hopefully, our taxes!)

I have rheumatoid arthritis like symptoms, but have a lot of blood work and nothing shows up. Is it possible it not be in the blood. It hasn’t been a year yet, it started about June or July sometime around there. I am 14 if that means anything. I have also been diagnosed with fabry disease, both clinically and genetically.

In short yes.

Arthritis, including rheumatoid arthritis, is difficult to diagnose, because there is not a single test that works for everyone. There are also a number of other conditions and factors that can explain differences in blood test results, so even if you show a high C-Reactive Protein Levels, for example, this doesn’t necessarily mean you have arthritis.

Since there is no single test, doctors usually preform a number of different tests, as well as looking at the symptoms of the patient. In many cases, it also isn’t that they are testing for arthritis specifically, but rather that they are testing for other similar conditions to rule them out.

As far as your age goes, people of all ages can develop arthritis, but it is more common among the elderly. However, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis does occur.

rheumatoid arthritis is a disease caused in part by this organelle. when it becomes leaky, it releases digestive enzymes that normally digest waste products and other materials. if released into the cell, these enzymes degrade cartlidge in joints.

This is a very nice explination about Rheumatoid Arthritis and can be obtained in thousands of different places.
My question is what is the point and for what reason did you find it necessary to post this.
This is not a question it is a statement.

Natural cures for fibroids can be a very successful method to use for treating this condition. The very nature of fibroids means that natural cures can work much better than surgery and drug treatment, which can only ever be a temporary measure.

Fibroids grow as a result of the subtle interaction of a number of circumstances which happen to coincide in a woman’s body at a certain time. It is sometimes difficult to pinpoint the exact causes of fibroids-indeed one study done on identical twins revealed that although their lifestyles can seem very similar it is not a foregone conclusion that their fibroid situation would be the same. What is agreed though, is that there are some common factors which make it much more likely that a woman will have fibroids.

One of the most common factors in fibroid growth is an excess of the hormone estrogen. Other factors include having no children, or finishing your family early, being prone to inflammatory conditions,

As fibroids grow because of lifestyle, this should give a clue as to the types of treatments which might be successful. One element of natural cures for fibroids is to look at how estrogen levels can be reduced.

Estrogen is produced during a woman’s fertile years and the levels can fluctuate depending on various factors. For example, estrogen is closely linked to the quantity of fat cells which a woman has and is indeed partially produced and stored by them. This is one of the reasons why overweight women are more likely to have fibroids. Maintaining a healthy weight will therefore keep estrogen at a lower level and it has been shown that most women who have fibroids who go on to lose weight will also reduce the size of their fibroids. An estrogen-like substance has been shown to be present in certain common pollutants and pesticides and when in the body, this can mimic the action of estrogen and therefore contribute to fibroid growth. Some women have found success in detoxing the liver (where this substance is stored) to shrink fibroids.

For some women, it is thought that being prone to inflammatory conditions, such as bowel disease, arthritis and endometriosis can also make a woman more susceptible. Natural cures for fibroids which concentrate on this factor would include eating foods which have natural anti-inflammatory properties such as hops, cumin, oats and rosemary.

Certain herbs have also been shown to help some women to both control and shrink their fibroids although they are no doubt best when combined with other forms of treatment. Some herbs which are commonly used are:-

* Spica Prunellae
* Rhizoma Sparganii
* Dendrobil
* Concha Ostreae
* Fructus Corni
* Sargassum
* Rhizoma Zedorariae
* Semen Litchi

Tests have shown these herbs to be safe if taken in pre-determined quantities and it is advisable to buy these is ready-prepared quantities, specifically made up for the treatment of fibroids.

There are a number of other natural cures for fibroids which, if used in isolation, they may give a little relief from the often debilitating symptoms of fibroids. What is by far the best is using a multi-faceted approach which pulls together all the possible causes of fibroids and treats the elements which are applicable in your particular case.

As a former fibroid sufferer myself, I firmly believe that the only successful way to deal with fibroids is by using a natural cure. This is because the conventional treatments (even surgery) will only treat the symptoms and the fibroids will regrow if you do not tackle the causes. Because of this, there are a couple of things I would like to stress.

Firstly, you need to understand that once you have fibroids, there is no “quick-fix”. Even if you decide that surgery to remove individual fibroids is the right treatment for you, it is likely that you will have to take hormonal treatment to shrink the fibroids for months before surgery and you must consider the side effects of this, which include hot flashes, thinning vaginal tissues, aging of the facial skin and osteoporosis. Then once you have surgery, it could take a good few weeks before you are back to normal-and then within months, the fibroids could regrow (with the obvious exception of a hysterectomy for which recovery is months). So, all-in-all, you are probably looking at a 6 month timeframe and this is with no guarantee of success. What I tend to say to women is that before considering such a radical, expensive and potentially painful treatment is that they consider looking at natural cures for fibroids. There is a complete, systematic approach which you can try completely risk-free. It is totally guaranteed to work, but I always give a word of warning. If you are the type of person who is not prepared to invest some time and effort into your own treatment, then this will not work. There is no magic “pill” you can take for this condition. However, if you are prepared to follow the guidelines through, this will shrink your fibroids. The good thing is that although your fibroids might take a few weeks to begin to shrink significantly, this is still much less time than the start to finish of surgery. Plus, you will begin to banish the symptoms of your fibroids within days. Humira is a medication that is used to treat many types of diseases but mainly for the help in relieving the symptoms of arthritis. If your doctor has told you about this medication, you will find that it is one of the most effective treatments for arthritis conditions. Most that are told about it, though, don’t have any idea what makes Humira work. If you have questions about your condition or why this medication should work for you, talk with your doctor about it. First and foremost, he is your line of information. To help you, though, there are a number of answers you can find right here.

How It Works

For starters, you may be wondering how Humira works. This medication is called a TNF-a blocker. That means that it blocks the body from making proteins that lead to the pain your feel in your joints. Those that have rheumatoid arthritic have too much of the substance called TNF-a in their bodies. When that happens, a build up of proteins inside the tissues and joints of your body causes those joints to become very hard to move and at the same time very painful. Humira works by telling the body that you don’t need to produce that substance and actually stops it from happening as much as possible.

Life With Humira

Taking Humira is easy. Most patients only need to get this medication one time every two weeks. While you can have your doctor do it, you can also do it yourself, at home, in your own privacy. To take the medication, you simply will need to inject it into the location that you are told to by your doctor. The good news is that this is virtually painless and there are no pill style medications to forget about.

You and your doctor will work out a plan of treatment for your rheumatoid arthritis. Not only will it include Humira, but you are likely to take other medications along with it. Why do you need more than one medication? There are several key things that are happening in your joints when you have this condition. Not only do you need something to turn off the protein production, which is what Humira does, but you also need something for the pain you feel.

Most doctors will prescribe a pain medication to help you to get as much mobility from your joint as possible. They will likely give you an oral medication to be taken daily. These medications can also be coupled with physical therapy to help increase the range of motion in the joint as well as to strengthen the muscle there.

Learning as much as you can about Humira is a vitally important thing to do. Those that are suffering from rheumatoid arthritis need a medication to increase the quality of life that they have. This medication can do just that. Work with your doctor to determine the right course of action to take as well as the medication treatment that’s right for your condition.

Over the counter painkillers have become a multi-billion dollar business as a result of millions of people suffering from Arthritic joint pain and inflammation. NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) are the most common form of drug treatment for arthritis. Aspirin, acetaminophen and ibuprofen are the best selling NSAID drugs.

Many people rely on NSAID drugs because they quickly reduce arthritic pain and inflammation. However, these pain medications cause serious side effects in the long term. NSAIDs have been found to cause following adverse reactions:

- gastric bleeding and ulcer

- cramps, indigestion and diarrhea

- nausea, vomiting, stomach upset and constipation,

- skin rashes and allergic reactions

- dizziness, nervousness and confusion

The adverse reactions depend on the length of drug use and strength of the dose. Higher doses and long time usage causes more severe side effects. The quick pain relief provided by the NSAIDs quickly plateaus and diminishes with time. As a result, people with severe pain have to keep taking them at short and regular intervals. Such people need to be aware of the adverse effects of NSAIDs and how to minimize them. Following are some helpful tips about NSAID usage:

- always take them with food to minimize stomach problems

- while taking the drugs, drink a full glass of water to prevent stomach irritation

- do not combine two different NSAID drugs

- do not drink alcohol while taking NSAID drugs, it increases the risk of stomach problems

- do not use antacids to relieve stomach problems caused by NSAIDs. It may hide a serious stomach problem

- NSAIDs tend to increase sensitivity to sunlight, try using a high SPF sunscreen for skin protection

In the long term, it is better to reduce the dependence on drugs and resort to other means of arthritic pain & inflammation treatment. Following are some of the guidelines that will help in giving relief from arthritic pain and inflammation:

- Use Hot and Cold packs, they are one of the best and simplest remedy for inflammation pain

- Reduce sugar from the diet

- Calcium/magnesium supplements help in relieving muscle spasms and chronic headaches

Emotional healing and a regular exercise regimen can also help in improving arthritis symptoms.

Emotions such as tension, anxiety, depression, loneliness and anger aggravate the pain by blocking the body’s production of natural painkillers. Therefore, it is very important to control your emotions and achieve mental peace through the use of various techniques such as meditation, aromatherapy, music therapy, etc. These techniques help in separating physical sensations from thoughts and emotions which tend to aggravate the pain. As a person becomes emotionally stable, the pain begins to slowly dissipate.

Exercise plays an important role in arthritis treatment. It improves the circulation, coordination, posture, balance, increases relaxation, strengthens the muscles and improves mood. It also helps in correcting bad posture and incorrect movements, which are among the main causes of chronic pain.

I do have arthritis but not sure if it is that severe. I feel like I have it but seems these days doctors don’t believe people anymore. And also what about fibromilagia? I am sure I have it but how can I convince my doctor?
I am 37 years old.

If I understood right you suffer from pain in your joints but your doctor does not find any pathologic signs during clinical examination nor any laboratory discrepancies. If that’s the case I would ask for an ultrasound examination of the affected joints. This way you will see if there’s arthritis, tenosynovitis or some other pathology in the region, above that you can quantify the degree of inflammation (if any). Let us know what happened!

If so what proportions should they be mixed

thanks in advance

It might help, though I would not call any single item or remedy a "cure". Arthritis, which literally means joint inflammation (arth=joint, ritis=inflammation) refers to more than 100 different diseases. What works for one person may not work for another.

I have quite the list of information about arthritis and items that have been reported to be useful in case you are interested:

http://www.tbyil.com/Arthritis.htm

One of the wilder sounding remedies is the Gin and Raisins remedy. I admit that it sounded far fetched to me and perhaps the stuff of urban legend, even though I had personally communicated with several people who swore by it. Then a few months ago I saw a study which said that a compound found in gin had shown beneficial effects against arthritis, so what do ya know, huh?

Here it is:

Put three shot glasses or small containers on your counter.

In each shot glass, put 9 (not 8 or 10) golden raisins, not regular raisins.

Pour just enough gin over them to just barely cover them (any kind of gin should do). By the 3rd day, the gin should be absorbed by the raisins.

Eat the raisins from one shot glass, and set the glass up again with 9 more golden raisins, just barely covered with any kind of gin, and put the fresh glass at the end of the line.

Each day, eat the 9 oldest raisins, then set it up again.

Repeat until pain-free, often in only 72 hours.

What is your opinion in the adoption of Minocin as a drug to stop the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis?And for how long can a patient tolerate this medication..

Reviews for Minocin taken from drugs.com
Minocin (minocycline) for Rheumatoid Arthritis: Having suffered from rheumatoid arthritis for more than 20 years I suffered a whole body flare 5 years ago severe enough to almost prevent me from walking. Twenty-six days after being put on Minocin by my doctor at Harvard Medical School I was riding my bicycle 10 miles a day. Minocin is not a "cure" for rheumatoid arthritis. Whenever I have attempted to get off this drug the rheumatoid arthritis has come back within 2 months. But as long as I take it you would never know I have rheumatoid arthritis. Only side effect I’ve experienced is a grayish blue tint to my skin on my neck and cheeks.

Acidity is quite a simple problem when it begins, but it can get out of hand easily if not taken seriously. It is a common ailment and results from a wrong diet. The excessive secretion of hydrochloric acid in the stomach causes acidity. Prolonged acidity can cause chronic indigestion, arthritis, gout, ulcers and even false angina pains.

Acidity tends to have a much higher incidence in highly emotional and nervous individuals. It is also more common in the developed and industrialized nations.

What are the symptoms?

The main symptoms of acidity are:

• Dyspepsia and heartburn

• Discomfort, burning sensation in the upper part of the gut area, especially after eating.

• Regurgitation of the gastric contents

• loss of appetite

• nausea, vomiting

• feeling of sickness

• flatulence accompanied by burping

• constipation

Causes of acidity:

Acidity may be caused by many conditions such as:

# Medical conditions, such as gastroesophageal reflux disease, stomach ulcers

# Hyperthyroidism – excessive secretion of the thyroid gland.

# Anxiety, anger and stress.

# Constipation, flatulence or intestinal gases.

# Artificial stimulants or the thought of nearing the food time can create acidity.

# Excessive intake of stimulants like tea, coffee etc.

# Excessive intake of fried foods, spicy or pungent food,

# As a side-effect of some drugs used for treating other illnesses

# Overeating along with bad food combinations. Overeating puts extra load on the stomach, liver, kidneys.

# Eating too rapidly, therefore improper salivation of food.

# Excessive smoking, intake of alcohol

# Tendency to eat and drink together

# Insomnia

# Lack of exercise.

# Long gaps between meals leads to acidity, as it gives the acid in the stomach more time to act.

How is acidity treated?

Try to identify and avoid foods that disagree with the digestive system. Also, try not to eat too quickly and avoid stress.

Some people need to be given drugs to control their condition.

Medicines to treat acidity include:

• Antacids, which neutralize the acid in the stomach.

• Acid suppressants, which reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach.

What type of diet should be followed?

# Avoid canned and junk food, artificially ripened fruits and vegetables or those kept in cold storage. Eat seasonal fruits and vegetables.

# Avoid a heavy intake of spices and aerated drinks that are highly acidic and strong enough to dissolve teeth and bones.

# Cold beverages with or after meals should be particularly avoided. Cold drinks dilute the enzymes and put stress on the digestive system. As a result, the food gets fermented leads to acidity.

# Avoid excess smoking, tea and coffee. Both nicotine and caffeine are directly related to problems of acidity. Instead, take coconut water, fresh water melon, cucumber juice and thin-skinned lemons because these are alkaline.

# Bitter gourd, amla (Indian gooseberry) juice is an excellent remedy for acidity.

# Benign lactic acid present in buttermilk, yoghurt are helpful. Raita prepared with fresh curd, grated cucumber, fresh coriander, tomato is a sure shot remedy in aiding digestion, and helps remove acidity.

# If you are overweight, lose some immediately. Those who are overweight put too much pressure on the esophageal sphincter, which leads to reflux of the contents of the stomach into the oesophagus, and heartburn follows.

# Drink plenty of water, as it aids digestion and helps flush out toxins. Eat only when hungry because digestive juices are released in the stomach only when one is hungry.

# Go green. Green leafy vegetables and sprouts contain vitamins B and E that facilitate the elimination of acids from the body.

# Get moving! Not enough physical activity means not enough sweat, which in turn results in uric acid being deposited in the body.

# Avoid stress and get adequate amount of sleep. Insomnia disturbs the digestive system.

# Bring about a change in food and habits that is conducive to overall good health.

Some home remedies to treat and prevent acidity -

i. Mix 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1/4 teaspoon methi seeds, 1/4 tsp mustard seeds, 1/2 tsp ajwain seeds. Roast them on a low flame. Add a pinch of hing (asafetida) and salt and stir for a minute. Grind to a powder when cool and store. Mix 1/2 tsp of powder with 1 teaspoon of curd. Eat twice a day for quick relief.

ii. Pineapple acts as a tonic and relieves digestive disorders. Half a glass of fresh pineapple juice should be taken after a meal for treating and preventing acidity.

iii. Eat almonds to give relief to symptoms of acidity.

iv. Chewing of a carrot increases saliva and quickens digestion by supplying the digestive system with necessary enzymes, minerals and vitamins. The juice of carrot is also beneficial.

v. A very simple remedy for acidity is thin butter-milk mixed with 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper powder. For better results, an equal quantity of cumin (jeera) powder and rock salt is to be added to the buttermilk.

vi. A piece of jaggery or gur after lunch and dinner prevents acidity.

vii. Take one piece of clove and suck it slowly. This will give you relief from acidity.

viii. Eat a cup of vanilla ice cream or drink a glass of cold milk to get heartburn and acidity relief within minutes
