What can I do for pain from a spider bite 2 months ago?
ByI was bitted by a spider 2 months ago and had an open wound about 1" x 1". It had pus and was very painful. It has closed up and has stayed closed up for 2 weeks now. However, I have "arthritic-like" pain in my wrist now. I was bitten on my forearm. I did take 2 rounds of antibiotics. I have never had arthritis before and find it coincidental that it would start after the spider bite.

I would go to the doctor. It could be infected.

I would check in with your doctor again.. and if tries to blow it off then call the local hospital and ask for poison control person and speak to them.
Check out this site to help you determine the type of spider and possible reactions to its' bite

If you are in the US. It sounds like a Brown recluse spider bite.
I take it you have been to your doctor!!
If not you should go.
you could have Lyell's syndrome.
This can occur after insect stings and spider bites and is characterised by arthritic pain.
Your doctor is the best person to treat you. Taking the pain away will only mask the symptoms.
