Most people do not know that arthritis is a disease that is most common in women. This is not to say that the men are safe from this painful disease, but the numbers among women affected is far more than that of the men. It has been reported to be more common amongst the older population. Unfortunately there are other types of arthritis that affect the younger population as well.

Arthritis might be affecting you if you are having persistent pain in your joints, if there is swelling in one or more of your joints, and if you have persistent lower back pain.

In other words the arthritis disease spares no one. At this point there is no known cure for this deadly disease. It can be extremely painful and hard to handle. You would be wise to talk to your doctor when you discover that you or your loved ones are starting to feel any of the symptoms of arthritis.

Many individuals are under the impression that arthritis is just a single disease. This is simply just not true. The condition of arthritis ranges from age and from sex. As stated above it is much more prevalent among women than men. The older population is known to be prone to the arthritis disease than our younger population.

A better understanding of the early symptoms of any of the types of arthritis is required, if you are serious about taking the disease on.
